Description |
Samuel Saslaw (1915 - 1974) received his A.B. from Transylvania College in 1937, his M.S. from the University of Kentucky in 1939, his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University in 1942, and his MD from OSU in 1946. Saslaw was a faculty member in the OSU College of Medicine Division of Infectious Disease and published extensively in this field. Popular among the medical students, Saslaw was elected Professor of the Year in 1956 and received the OSU Distinguished Teaching Award in 1963. Other awards include the United States Army Award for Biological Warfare in 1962. |
